False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These courses start at NCV level two plus the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
When the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.
NCV Level four is at the exit level, getting comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two that's equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which sort of students are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that regular education is not always the sole strategy for becoming an artisan or becoming competent so if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is actually perfectly fitted to that student.
